Help Stephanie!

This year, during our mission trip to Brazil we had the great privilege of ministering in nine different cities. In a return visit to the city of Guarei we were honored to be once again work side by side with Pastor Mario, making several visits with him to homes, businesses and other places. One of those visits took us to the home of Oracio de Oliveria Neto and his precious family. His wife is Thaís. They have two children.

Their daughter Stephany just turned eight on August 3 and son, Hiago, is six. In late June, Stephanie lost her left hand and part of her arm in a meat grinder incident. It is very hard to cope with such a devastating loss but God is using this difficult situation to bring about a great plan for Stephanie’s life and ministering to the family.

We are told that since the accident that they are receiving some psychological help for her and actively seeking avenues for physical assistance. Although it has been a tough time, Stephany has returned to school. The family says, “she’s been acting a little more okay with the situation”. She and her family are in great need. The church and Pastor Mario are a great source of strength and support for the family. We want to help get the word out about Stephany’s need.

They most definitely need your prayers, and all help is welcome. Our greatest desire though, is for God to provide them with a hospital where she’d be under treatment and would eventually receive a prosthesis.
